Virtually all of the self-created myth about Elon seems to be complete bullshit.
He’s been massively inconsistent about the year, some weird story about grad school requirements.
His “woke mind virus traceroute” post just does not seem like the kind of thing anyone who has ever used any form of command line would actually write. The way he talks about physics and rocketry, as someone who has taught physics and also been blessed to actually talk to some of the smartest NASA scientists in the world, does not sound like the way that people talk about physics and rocketry.
Elon musk is great at buying companies that could be promising and getting them to massively grow. It's likely mostly about being able to secure funding, but it's something I guess.
Elon dazzels Trump with tales of setting the correct time on all sorts of video players.

Trump is going to get away with literally everything, as he already has, save for some state level civil b.s he can't use the DOJ to make go away.
Defeatist or blind positivity, none of it matters. We have no control. You can, as I have, and many others, shout from the rooftops of all the shit we've kept track of, but as long as fox news exists, as long as Elon keeps buying social media to control, we will have next to 0 impact getting people to realize.
Honestly keeping with what I've just said, even this means nothing and has no real purpose. I think "keep track" just triggered me. It's all useless.
I wish I could tune out. My mental health is already shite, but I am terrified. My state already had a law that just passed defining sex, with this new EO I’m terrified they’re coming after my drivers license. I’m terrified that they’re going to institutionalize and detransition me.
I don’t know how to balance staying aware enough to keep my self safe without being terrified and exhausted into paralysis.
Maybe it's worth keeping track of so when the dust all settles and it's all over, someone has a real-time record of it.
I basically agree with everything else you said though.
Thanks for pointing out that community, because I've been trying to figure out how to get some kind of news feed that only covers the important things that we actually need to know about, without having to subject myself to the firehose of irrelevant bullshit that the media breathlessly covers as if it was just as important as news about stuff that is actually happening and getting buried in all that distracting trash.
Keeptrack seems like it should work for me for this purpose. It looks like posts there will be just the actual actions taken by our new overlords that impact us, without all the crap that's just bluster for drama and stoking the base.

And Democrats. You're going to see the DOJ move at light speed now. Moved at glacial pace with the previous administration but now that vindictive retaliation is on the menu they're going to give Sonic a run for his money.
Maybe, or maybe we'll get a lot of firey talk, sternly worded letters, terse lunches, and frustrated phone calls from both sides.
And then they'll all meet on the green at 2pm and have a leisurely game of golf before going home to their mansions in their gated communities.
And the media will jingle the next shiny thing for us to look at.

Trump is so old he probably means human computers. They were still around when he was a young man. Right? He meant the people counting the votes, right? Heaven forbid he actually tried to monkey with the voting machines. Because that would be illegal, and totally unthinkable for someone with a stainless reputation like His Orangeness...
Don't assume there's anything meaningful behind what he says. His algorithm is mind-numbingly simple: say stupid shit. If it gets attention, double down.
