I will stab you for cheese, I didn't realize I should have a dedicated tool for it though!

The particular knife in the picture is used for opening a wheel of parm, and not for serving.

No, it's for defending your cheese. Can't you read?

[–] lolola@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 2 days ago (3 children)

do you suppose this is actual cheese or what a robot thinks cheese looks like

[–] Skua@kbin.earth 26 points 2 days ago

It looks like real parmesan to me. If it's not, it's very convincing

I think it looks legit. I've had several different cheeses that look like this, especially aged ones. Usually, I don't buy that big of a chunk of the wheel, but it looks right to me.

The only real problem is the skewed background, but that could be explained by bad photoshop

Ngl it’s in the weird uncanny valley for me too, I’m not sure what is going on.

I saw a package of these cheese knives being sold next to the crackers at Walmart the other day and was tempted to buy them to be used as throwing knives as they were the perfect size and shape.

You'd probably be better off buying actual throwing knives. You can get an OK starter set for maybe $15-20.

How well would those cut the cheese, tho?
