Can we all just bask in the lovely warm feeling that hanson has zero legal recourse now if you refer to her loudly and publicly as a racist
There really should be more politicians of a working class background representing the interests of ordinary people⦠instead we get that. :(
Also itβs a bit rich for an Aussie to tell anyone to go back where they came fromβ¦
Maybe she'll stop getting a weekly spot on Sunrise now
Bank locked my account due to suspicious activity. Can't unlock till Monday.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuckity, fuck.
Chef is going on a date and cannot sleep.
Joking aside, you seem really cool and the kinda person I'd wanna hang out with and so you've more than got this mate! If they're obnoxious though then please do share the goss β€οΈ
Thank you!! I already know this person and they are very nice.

Go bacon, bacon goβ¦. Go!!
DON'T GET TOO DISTRACTED THOUGH WE STILL NEED BREAKFAST.
One of my neighbours has been playing classical music over the last week or two and it's just so lovely to go out on the balcony and listen.
Some opera singers, classical instrumentals shame I know the songs but not the names of them.
Edit: O Sole Mio!!! That's it! That's what my neighbour is playing right now
In my dream someone was making breakfast cocktails. Something with blitzed pears.
My cup of tea is fine, but I could totally go a fancy pear cocktail.
Second breakfast was a success. Met with friend/colleague from last job and sat in a cafe playing chess for two hours. Won 2/2 games which is rare, she's better than me, and the second game was an absolute epic. No blunders, really long and spicy end game. Lots of fun!
Super grateful I got the ps5. As much as I love music, the spark isn't always there.
Final fantasy rebirth is so good so far!
I have to admit though, I do find it hard to just relax. This intense need to be productive at all times hangs over my head.
Second batch of soap (the one I messed up and had to re-cook) is now out of the moulds and looking good. Now I just have to wait a couple of months for drying.
No shortbread this time, just fake brownies. Lies!
That looks so much like fudgeβ¦
Pausing from painting for a snack break, saw those and thought yum
Things feel pretty hopeless lately but Iβve got a furry baby asleep on my chest so I stick it out
I'm glad you two have each other <3
House got cleaned. Cars have been washed and detailed. Nap has been had. Time for some Pho!!!!
Perhaps a movie later.
Good lord now things are warming up again my m. deliciosa is cooking up a new leaf. This thing is already nearly touching the ceiling. If I stop shitposting on here it's because it has claimed me as fertiliser.
Went for a walk down at Point Nepean and checked out some of the old structures. Fascinating stuff. So bloody thankful to live here! Now time for some drinks, music and chilling out!
Saturday morning insight into the weirdness that is my brain:
- Dream recollection #1: being unable to breathe (scary, I have a feeling of being somewhat aware that I was dreaming but couldnβt quite wake myself up).
- Dream recollection #2: randomly eating a piece of 5 day old bread.
How did I even get this far in life?
Drove all the way to Preston to fill up at the last servo still doing 169/L (forgot I gotta drive to Ballarat tomorrow). Saved $7 compared to the other joints at 189, probably worth it as it would've only been about 50c extra of petrol. Dropped off some insanely overdue library books. Worked out how to undo the key lock I had my spare keys in. Laundry done. Now time to make a brunch of spinach, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and toast.
Next up, grab some boxes and sort out empty jars (colleague has offered to take em all) and expired/unlikely to be used food in pantry. Might use up some of the pantry stuff to take tomorrow, maybe a big batch of BBQ jackfruit. E: nope it's going to be rice and curry, so jackfruit curry it is. And toor dal with spinach.
Whenever itβs a long sort of weekend, I always forget.
TF. The traffic at nothing, heading down to Geelong. Such a joke.
Took the Minipeelers out for an ice-cream and walked along the local creek. It's a windy, polleny kind of day but it wasn't unpleasant, not along the creek path anyway. Cut some of a plant outside that had keeled over for some reason. Did a couple of loads of washing and cleaned the bathroom. Am procrastinating on the kitchen.
The pollen today is super fun. I think my face is actually exploding.
Onions and mushrooms cut and fried. Massive bowl of it that should last a good few days.
Air frying chicken tenders to be all assembled with Turkish bread and some sauce.
Bon appetite!
southern chicken tenders with onions and mushrooms in Turkish bread
Went to a barbie tonight. Had a few drinks. Cleaning Sunday maybe compromised.
In an exciting start to the morning I have done some more updates to my budget spreadsheet. I have now mastered the use of TRUNC, ROUNDUP and EVEN functions. Hopefully my pay calculations will now match my actual payslips without rounding errors.
Having two breakfasts today. R1 is scrambled eggs on toast with a side of avo. R2 at 10am, and idk yet. Maybe more eggs.
Title
The brain is a ruminant,
Though only when the sun sets,
Reclaim the ruins and the remnants,
The river mouth regurgitates
Riddles from the red-raw years,
Rhymes to ride the tide of tears,
Resolute in the face of fears.
Re-masticate the reveries,
Feel them flow forth freely
Between the gaps and synapse.
A lapse of judgement partly
Resides within the wraps,
The wrinkles, and the folds
Of the grey matter maps;
Memories unresolved, retold.
Yeah I'm definitely finding it hard to relax. There's always this nagging in the back of my mind "you're wasting time, do something more productive".
It sucks and I don't know how to stop.
Some rather impressive model tram work here. I think the guy made these models himself and the overhead wires actually deliver power
i messed up and stayed up doing cable management - good night everyone!
Would anyone like a music quiz on this fine morning?
