Williams boss James Vowles has claimed that Carlos Sainz‘s arrival to partner Alex Albon in 2025 will witness the team possess the “best driver line-up” in Formula 1.

Over Charles Lewis? 🤔🤔

Lewis is defiantly on the decline but I've seen no evidence that Albon is even close to Lewis.

Sainz isn't as good as Leclerc. And now that team is getting Lewis fucking Hamilton.

I'm optimistic about Williams, but I'm tired of Vowles making bizarre comments.

From needlessly being rude about other drivers, to acting like they have a guaranteed championship or something just because they got Ferrari's second driver. He's been hyping up Sainz for months now, in a way that's felt a bit weird.

FWIW I love Carlos and hope he brings great things to Williams.

Buuuuuutttt.....

There are some stacked lineups in F1 next year. McLaren will see the return of their rapid pair, Ferrari will have two of this generation's stars, Mercedes have one proven talent and one suspected prodigy, Williams will have a solid pairing, hell Aston Martin might even be competitive with Fernando and the Window Licker in a rocketship.

They have a good team but not the best for me.
