How about where they say, no, no, we have a strong border with. They don’t. So bad.

But then we find out that they flew almost a million people in over the border! They flew! That stops all of them.

I shouldn’t say this, because if there’s a debate, it would be nice to surprise her with that one. They flew– they’ll have– they have an answer to everything. Well. We decided.

wat

He's been showing signs of it since at least 2016.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 24 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I read this to my partner to see if she could make sense of it. She believes this might be concerning migratory birds and or bats.

After reviewing Trump's attempt to stop migratory animals by a building a wall, I'm unsure if she is mistaken.

Maybe he has been yelling at clouds so long, hes concerned with the geese.

Upon further study, it appears this may be why he rants about California and Texas

Those Mexican animals need to stay down in Mexico and stop freeloading on all of our grass and bugs.

[–] Nuke_the_whales@lemmy.world 10 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Trump has finally discovered our secret. Us Latinos have wings.

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Not to go off topic and it awesome to learn you have wings, but why do you want to nuke the whales?

100% he's going to chicken out. They know perfectly well he's going to be destroyed if he goes up against Kamala.

[–] zcd@lemmy.ca 44 points 10 months ago (4 children)

I'm starting to suspect he is going to chicken out from the whole election

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 34 points 10 months ago (4 children)

He's sure getting lazy about campaigning. Vance is working harder than he is.

[–] WHYAREWEALLCAPS@fedia.io 41 points 10 months ago (3 children)

It's his dementia. He's getting almost as bad as Reagan was when Nancy was basically guiding him, except he won't let anyone guide him so he goes off the rails constantly. A narcissist with dementia is pretty much uncontrollable.

[–] Glytch@lemmy.world 12 points 10 months ago

Melania wouldn't want to guide him like Nancy did for Ronnie anyway. The Reagans were terrible people, but their marriage wasn't loveless like the Trumps'.

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

*Nancy's psychic

[–] thesohoriots@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago

Only a matter of time before the secret service keeps dropping leaves in the pool when he’s not looking.

[–] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 13 points 10 months ago

I mean, have you seen some of the couches in the white house?? Who can blame him...

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

“How long have I been working harder than Trump? …Okay, good. I deserve some donuts— just whatever makes sense…”

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

He's on Ozempic. He didn't want the donuts because it makes you much less interested in food. That was part of the reason he sounded so disinterested in being there.

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 14 points 10 months ago (1 children)

It was so weird.

Ordering donuts with the phrase, “just whatever makes sense…”. What a silicon valley douchebag.

[–] athairmor@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago

That’s some executive dysfunction right there. Not what you think any to see in an executive officer.

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 10 months ago

You know what would drive Trump nuts? If Vance's favorables started to climb higher than Trump's.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 20 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Nah, he's staying for personal reasons like staying out of jail. And that's a good thing because he's sinking the GQP ship. Oh, the sweet, sweet retribution.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 11 points 10 months ago

He's really lost steam though. Maybe he'll regain it, but the winds are out of his sails. As he used to say of Jeb Bush, low energy.

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago

Doubt. He’d die in prison.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

If he doesn't think he can get close enough to try to steal it after losing, then he won't play. He'll claim some BS about the Jews and the deep state, and drop out. I wish I could say he might be in prison by then, but we all know that he's never going to face any consequences for his thousands of felonies.

[–] HubertManne@moist.catsweat.com 35 points 10 months ago (1 children)

cracks me up she wants live mics now. they want him to be able to talk as much as he wants.

[–] GratefullyGodless@lemmy.world 30 points 10 months ago

She wants to make sure everyone hears all his racist statements, because you know he won't be able to stop himself.

[–] CarbonatedPastaSauce@lemmy.world 28 points 10 months ago

Maybe the D in his 4D Chess strategy stands for Derp.

[–] LEDZeppelin@lemmy.world 25 points 10 months ago (2 children)

He didn’t even have balls to show up for repube primary debates. What makes you think he will show up for upcoming debate against Kamala?

[–] OneWomanCreamTeam@sh.itjust.works 13 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I think he's afraid that backing out now would make him look weak (it would). But his ego is too big for him to accept that she's going to wipe the floor with him.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

He is weak. He's the most fragile politician in the history of the United States.

[–] OneWomanCreamTeam@sh.itjust.works 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Oh for sure. But his entire political strategy (if you can even call it a strategy anymore) is to appear strong.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

He fails so miserably at that too. I seriously cannot understand how any person could watch his actions, or listen to him talk, and think he's a strong man. He's weak AF, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

[–] OneWomanCreamTeam@sh.itjust.works 2 points 10 months ago

Yeah I don't get it. He never really impressed me much. It baffles me how many people he seems to work on though.

[–] phdepressed@sh.itjust.works 9 points 10 months ago

Avoiding the primary debates and the media rewarded him with "interviews" during the same timeslot that were advertised much more. The continued media forefronting of the shitstain is probably the prime reason he still polls as well as he does. They always edit until his word salad at least sounds like real sentences. From there rage and/or bigotry drive the rest.

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 17 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Confirming for the record that Trump hates immigrants.

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Mr Trump hates *non-white" immigrants. Me and my kind are welcome to come down from canuduh and take yer jerbs.

[–] Tja@programming.dev 2 points 10 months ago

points at Norway on the map

You have to be this white to be a not-shithole.

[–] hopesdead@startrek.website 11 points 10 months ago

Man proves he doesn’t understand the meaning of words.

[–] PapaStevesy@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

And the talking point is a load of horse hockey, surprise surprise.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)

What does polo have to do with this?

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 4 points 10 months ago

A lot of his followers don't believe in medical science, so they play the polo game.
