I'm reading The Dispossessed right now. It's the first of her Hainish Cycle scifi novels chronologically even though it was written after Left Hand of Darkness.
It seemed like a good place to start for her scifi. I really like it.

You can honestly go many ways. I’d recommend Wizard of Earthsea or Left Hand of Darkness depending on if you want fantasy or Sci-Fi. The Word for World is Forest is also great. Her short stories like Those Who Walk Away From Omelas are quick and thought provoking too.
Without knowing anything about you then I'd recommend The Lathe of Heaven. If you want something more political and sociological, The disposed. If you are queer, then The Left Hand of Darkness shoots to the top of my recommendations.
But Ursula is my favorite author, so I think picking up any of these will be a treat.
The disposed.
"The Dispossessed." Great book!
I recently started with the Earthsea series and I'm halfway through. I'll start with the SciFi series when I finish the fantasy one.
I started with Earthsea because I read the original trilogy many years ago.

Nope. Get as far as you can of the "Earthsea" TV series. LeGuin enragedly denounced that travesty.
I was talking about the book series, I didn't know about the TV series. I do know about the movie, and if it's as bad as the movie I won't get close.
Ah, got it. I thought you meant the SciFi (later SyFy) Channel series.
I really liked The Dispossessed.
The ones who walk away from omelas is a classic and very short.
The wizard of Earth Sea books are pretty okay.
The Lathe of Heaven is all I've read of her, how does that fit in the pantheon?
I'm not really answering that question as much as adding a recommendation for another author, so hopefully you don't mind.
Check out the Broken Earth trilogy by N.K. Jemisin. Hugo and nebula awards were awarded for novels in the trilogy, and I tore right through them. She has a short story collection that I read first and it really hooked me in. Such a wide variety of worlds, peoples, and consciousness she's able to bring to life. The title doesn't make you think "sci Fi shorts" but I assure you it is, and fantastic! "How Long 'til Black Future Month?"
NK jemisin is great but that's not the topic 🤔
I enjoyed both Broken Earth and Wizard of Earthsea , anyone any recommendations for similar stories or writers?
