Musk wrote: “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

What does this even mean? What's the joke (or not) he's trying to make? I honestly don't get it. He wants to get her pregnant, than leave her for the "cat lady that she is"?

It's a veiled rape threat, the kind that is worded ambiguously enough that it flies under the radar for many but terrifies those who've experienced similar scenarios with creepy, weird, abusive men.

He's for a long time had a thing for Taylor, making weird comments that you'd expect out of a creepy high schooler. Things like being weirdly jealous sounding of her boyfriends, to iirc inviting her over, making a joke about comparing her to his wife, and now this. He obviously has a thing for her, and she does not give a fuck. He's a grown up "niceguy" for sure.

I wonder if it's because, regardless of being rich and famous, he can't coerce a pop star like Taylor, he's not that rich or famous.

She's unattainable, and for a narcissist that's irresistible.

Good observation, I bet you're onto something...

I'm sure he could with others, but Taylor is also in the billionaire class that is crushing the planet, so his money isn't really the same incentive.

Ah... So it's not the first interaction of this kind? Is there a list of all the other times he's been creepy niceguy on Swift?

[–] scrubbles@poptalk.scrubbles.tech 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I honestly tried to find one, but Google and Bing's horrid SEO means all I can find is endless trash articles about today's tweet. I wish the internet wasn't stupid now and I could actually search for things

That dude is still so insecure despite his billions.

He's got the standard dickhead internet brainrot but we're somehow supposed to afford weight to it because mOnEy

If I understand correctly, Swift mentioned she didn't have kids as a reference to Vance's shit take on childfree individuals voting. Good ol' Elmo just had to make it rapey.

Apparently he has a procreation fetish and has something like 12 acknowledged children and who knows how many unknown children. He manipulates people into allowing him to sleep with them, gets them knocked up, and walks away.

And you just know that eugenics related thoughts are a part of it for him. Ick, what a creep.

She signed her endorsement of Harris/Walz as "Childless Cat Lady", lampooning some crazy shit Vance said on a campaign stop
