Just marking it. Coming up is Canada, and then, I think that's the end!

People are reporting they were told they were recording the performance, most are assuming that there will be another film coming out! Either the Tortured Poets Department and/or a behind the scenes!

We’ll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend. This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually. Excited to announce that The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my own personal reflections, never-before-seen behind the scenes photos, all the magical memories you guys brought every single night AND …. The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD will all be available for the first time ever only at @Target starting Nov 29th. 🤍

Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.

Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.

I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.

I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I’ll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.

With love and hope,

Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady

In summation

We have officially wrapped the European leg of The Eras Tour. With it came the most passionate crowds I’ve ever played for, new traditions in the show, and an entirely new era added in. It was a more hectic pace than we’d done before, and I’m so proud of my crew/fellow performers for being able to physically perform that show and build our massive stage, take it apart, and make magic with so few days in between for recovery and travel. They’re the most impressive people I know and I’m so lucky they gave The Eras Tour their time, their energy, and their expertise. Walking onstage in London was a rollercoaster of emotions. Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows. But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives. I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together. I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London. My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us. Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows. In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that. And then London felt like a beautiful dream sequence. All five crowds at Wembley Stadium were bursting with passion, joy, and exuberance. The energy in that stadium was like the most giant bear hug from 92,000 people each night, and it brought me back to a place of carefree calm up there.

Additional Comment:

We had some EPIC surprise performances from my long time friends@teddysphotos, @florenceandthemachine, and @jackantonoff. Performing 'Florida!!!' with Flo for the first time was unforgettable and Ed took me right back to our old Red Tour memories. It was the most dizzying honor to become the first solo artist to play Wembley 8 times in one tour. To the fans who have seen us this summer, you'll always have the most sparkling place in my memories. You were a dream to perform for, dance with, and share those magical moments with. We'll see you all again when we resume The Eras Tour in October, but for now we get to take a much needed rest. Thank you for the adventure of a lifetime. May it continue...

Since then, there hasn’t been a word from Swift, in the media or on social media. Not even a “source” sharing a quote with an outlet. Nothing.

To say Swifties are divided is an understatement. Swift herself has comments turned off on Instagram, but the latest Taylor Nation post, about her VMA nominations, is a mess.

“It’s absolutely outrageous that there’s not a single word about the canceled shows in Vienna. Ignoring your fans like this while continuing to milk them for more money through merch and the 30th version of the same album is just disrespectful. You may have lost many fans who once saw you as an idol and now can’t listen to your music without the bitter taste of betrayal. Such unprofessional behavior—such a shame!” reads a typical comment.

Another: “I was hoping the silence was maybe because they were in part working on a rescheduled date / additional London date. After reading these comments and some of the Reddit comments, I don’t actually think it’s fair to expect one! And I say that as a N2 Vienna Swiftie, whose only chance to see her ever was Vienna!”

For context, Taylor Swift is usually pretty on top of it when it comes to addressing fan concerns, at least those that make the news. She posted after the TicketMaster debacle, she posted when a fan died and even met with her family, she posted after the tragic stabbing incident, and she posted when a concert had to be rescheduled.

Next up in my favorite photo of each stop! I can't tell who that is she's with though.. Gracie Abrams? All I can find online are tabloid articles that say "Click through 20 pages to find out who opened tonight!"

I'll always be happy I got to see her on Eras tour, but I won't lie I wish I could have seen her TTPD set.

Taylor is working on a new record which is due out in 2025, followed by a new tour in 2026,” the insider alleged. “She is heavily inspired by all the new experiences she is having on ‘The Eras Tour’ and has been quietly writing songs backstage.
