Anti-AI is a brain-dead idea anyway. Artists should be more open with their art, not less. Yes, even with AI.
Are you saying artists should be OK with AI companies stealing their art an using it without permission?
Well, if you don't copyright everything, then it's not stealing. We need more open culture, not closed off "IP".
You don't have to do ANYthing in order to have copyright on your images.
That is standard throughout the Berne convention & has been for decades.
Registering makes court-cases easier to win, but having copyright on one's renditions isn't in any way requiring that one have registered anything with anybody.
Ok, but that is beside the point. Copyright only serves the interests of large IP holders, like Disney.
