What would you suggest instead (serious question, not meant as snark)? Librewolf? Ungoogled Chromium? Firefox with arkenfox.js blocks the telemetry and many other semi-bad things that FF has baked in.

Great! Thank you very much 🙂👍
I don't know for certain if he would have won, but I'm guessing that he would've done a whole heckuva lot better than Kamala.
Does anyone besides me ever wonder if the DNC's been infiltrated by GOP moles? You otherwise have to work pretty hard to attain that level of cluelessness.
Emboldened a bit here…as long as I've been alive, the Dems have all too often struck me as being spineless cowards, always playing defense, always veering too far to the right in an attempt to curry favor with a part of the American public that was never going to vote for them in the first place, and I'm sick of them losing. Whether it's a progressive takeover of the party, a mass defection to the Greens, or even just better messaging, something's gotta change. Instead of blaming, let's try to find a way forward. I suggest that we should also wait for all the facts of the election to come out before we try to interpret them.
EDIT: I think Bernie showed that the left has a way forward; at first I was convinced that he'd be laughed off stage, but he wasn't! Quite the opposite in fact! I believe that there were a lot of Trump voters who would have voted for him had Hillary not been the nominee. He's too old now unfortunately, and needs a political heir. Would going more to the left help the Dems? Would it make things worse? I honestly don't know, but I think going more left is at least worth a try. At this point I'm planning on leaving the Democratic party and going Independent; we have open/semi-open primaries here, so it's really more of a symbolic gesture than anything else. If I can vote in the Green primary I could maybe help to get rid of Jill Stein and nominate…someone else.
EDIT EDIT: Also, I suspect that many of the folks who went for Trump this time are going to be really sorry they voted for him, but who knows.
Does TB no longer partner with gandi or Mailfence? It used to be that when you did a new install of TB, it would provide links on how to get a new email address with one or both of them. Since TB Android looks to be basically just K9 Mail (?), I'm assuming there's no calendar or calendar sync function?
I'm pretty happy with Firefox, is there any reason I should try this?
I have heard that Israel can be thrown out of the UN for its behavior; is this possible with the US's veto power on the Security Council?

I'd be happy to help anyone looking for alternatives to buying stuff on amazon.
This is probably my usual naivete about how these things work, but why can't Mozilla just ask for donations in the way that Wikipedia does (I think I brought this up in another comment a while back and someone explained that Mozilla is not allowed to take donations the way they're currently set up, but maybe they could change this?)? Also now that K9 Mail has become Thunderbird mail, why don't they set up a thunderbird.net email domain and charge for it like Tuta or Proton Mail does in exchange for not being spied on?
