I swear on my mum's life...if my neighbour is out watering today I'm dropping him.

He was out there with the hose yesterday at lunchtime.

I nearly did that with mine yesterday after his dog bit mine again for the second time in 2 years. I mean, it was a jack Russel vs a Kelpie, I like my dogs chances, but told him if it happens again his dog will have the honor of being the second dog in orbit cause I'm punting it at the sun.

I cannot imagine not having a dog on a lead or behind a fence/gate.

What a knob.

Yep, his defense was "I only turned my back for a minute" but when the wife went over to play "Good cop" to my "Pull your head out of your fucking arse you C***!" cop, he admits the dog has issues. So why was it allowed out the front unsupervised at all?

Farm is different, not in public. Dog parks are generally fenced off, no?

Not having recall/control over a dog and letting is loose is irresponsible.

Maybe he doesn't like his wife.

[โ€“] MeanElevator@aussie.zone 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I'm pretty sure no one likes his wife.

Bang. There you go.

I knew an old bloke who bought a shop just so he could sit out the back and listen to the races without the wife nagging. She was forbidden from entering the shop. Fuck he hated customers.

what did he sell out of curiosity?

Not much.

Locals knew not to go in there because he never changed the oil but if you happen to stumble in there and ask for something other than fish n chips he'd yell DOES IT LOOK LIKE I MAKE HAMBURGERS. CAN'T YOU READ. FISH AND CHIPS as he pointed to the board which had no prices on there at all other than the words Fish and Chips.

I got the hose out today.....to fill the standalone maze tanks for the potted fruit trees from the big downpipe tank. Makin' room.

That makes sense. He literally waters his grass and bushes even when the ground is soaked.

could be working on hydrophobic soil. Or he could just be an idiot.

His soil is the same as mine as we share the front lawn. In summer my grass gets fairly yellow, his stays green. By May, there is no difference in how they look after some autumn rains.
