How did you do it? Please share the steps
I just went to the filterlist, set a checkmark for all annoying filters and applied. Not much more than that. Plus I'm using a VPN so maybe that helps somehow as well, dunno.
My additional add-ons are decentealeyes, noscript, privacybadger. Dont think that makes a difference tho.
I'm surprised you can access the site with a VPN. Mullvad is completely cock blocked and immediately redirects you to a login page.
I am also surprised, but VPN is definitely connected without leaks.. I just checked. And usually I also have problems.
I'm also still getting blocked on other websites.
I did the same without the vpn but no luck.
So weird, but seems like you're not the only one. I was actually surprised as well. Didn't think this would work lol
Huh.. ok I just disabled the options again and it still works? Does it still use the filters maybe? I didn't check today before applying.. but I know it usually doesn't work with Insta, so I assumed it was the change in ublock.
Might be IP related then or I was just lucky? Who knows..
I tried using the usually blocked IPs of the dutch server too.. but everything works. I'm confused lol.
It's odd that it didn't work for me. I had to create my own filter to remove the overlay.
I did update all my lists first, too.
Are you on Firefox on Android too? Funny that we have such different results somehow
I'm on the Fennec fork of Firefox, but yeah. It should be the same.

Could it possibly be the country you're connecting to via your VPN?
Definitely is the server, just crosschecked. So yeah the tip didn't help, but changing the server did. I use AirVPN btw.
My bad for not properly checking earlier as to what the actual reason were.
That's a really cool tip, I'll definitely check it out when I'm getting annoyed by those ads again :)
I am also on fennec haha
Here are my ublock filter list. This works for me
After this you can clear site data from browser and reload
