Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Are you on Firefox on Android too? Funny that we have such different results somehow

Huh.. ok I just disabled the options again and it still works? Does it still use the filters maybe? I didn't check today before applying.. but I know it usually doesn't work on Insta, so I assumed it was the change in ublock.
Might be IP related then or I was just lucky? Who knows
Could it possibly be the country you're connecting to via your VPN?
Definitely is the server, just crosschecked. So yeah the tip didn't help, but changing the server did. I use AirVPN btw.
My bad for not properly checking earlier as to what the actual reason were.
That's a really cool tip, I'll definitely check it out when I'm getting annoyed by those ads again :)
