Catching up with a mate tonight.

A couple of weeks ago he got together with someone and fell of the radar. We're really close, like family, so I'm thinking when he's free he'll hit me up.

I left it alone for a while.

Then the other day he asked me why I was being distant.

I don't know how to explain to him that I don't want to be a nuisance. I think he's upset that I left him alone.

Dunno. It's weird. It's like he thinks I'm ignoring him.

I totes understand this. It's not you.

I waver between being happy enthusiastic and worrying I'm being a needy pest that can't read cues so I go quiet.
