Having small tiles in a bathroom is a mistake from a cleaning perspective, because the more grout you have the harder it is to keep it clean.

If I ever build /reno a bathroom, Iโ€™m putting in walls that look like massive tiles. Seen them on fb - no grout, looks like marble.

There's also concrete, TADELAKT and clay based rendering as well which actually looks ok.
