Looking presentable is a priority no? I mean they're not dressed like British barristers, but I also think showing up to a legislature in a hoodie and shorts is trashy
You think it looks trashy, I think it looks comfortable. It's not a dirty or greasy hoodie, just casual. I'd rather a lawmaker be comfortable and undistracted than worried about their appearance.
You're ok with it till they start showing up in Maga t shirts.
I'd be happy with that actually, why would that be a problem? People shouldn't hide that sort of thing, be open about so it can be mocked and ridiculed.
Is a hoodie a political statement?
Not yet
Honestly I'd prefer that it just makes voting easier
It's what the T-shirt represents vs the T-shirt itself.
haven't seen a single person who wouldn't be fine with it.
Why though? Do you need to be uncomfortable in expensive clothing to make good laws?
Christ on a shitstick. Look around. You think our problem is that some dude wore a goddamn hoodie? No, looking presentable is not a fucking priority. Maybe you’ll realize that when you have a $657,190 medical bill to pay for a sick child or something.
His hoodie shtick is a PR stunt to make him more appealing to people like you who lap it up.
Big brain over here. I don’t give a flying shit what he wears. But if it pisses off idiots, that’s entertaining.
If feterman cared about your child's medical bills he'd put on a tie like a grown up, instead of wasting time with this shit.
I'm also going to get down voted to hell, but I feel like pants and a shirt without a pouch or hood isn't asking too much.
They don't have to be expensive clothes, but when I worked in retail I had to wear khakis and a nice shirt. it seems like an elected representative would dress better than a cashier at Walmart.
