Americans who pronounce 'Dubois' as DEW-boyse and DU-bwah depending on personal preference.

We just do that. Miami, FL is pronounced differently than Miami, OK.

Sometimes they're just named after different guys. Like Houston Street versus Houston, Texas.

Louisville and St. Louis were named after the same guy. Pronounced differently. Lew-ie-ville and Saint Lou-iss
