I'm all for bike infrastructure but LA is already so wide and sprawling it seems like it would take herculean effort to make it cyclable at this point.

I just want to ride a bike without constant fear of death. LA is statistically one of the most dangerous cities to ride a bike. I don’t care if it’s far—10 miles of sunshine and exercise and not dealing with bumper to bumper traffic sounds great to me, if I’m likely to arrive with my skull still in tact.

You're right. Perfection is the enemy of better. Anything is better than nothing. I guess I just give up too easily.

I dunno, man. I kinda agree with the first comment, even just to get it good enough would be a massive thing. That doesn't mean impossible and it shouldn't be tried, just... It does seem extra hard in a city that size that's already built poorly for cars.

Don't forget to paint the little man riding a bicycle too otherwise people won't know what the green paint is about
