Sure but it's not like it's the first time. Freakin Smallville (the TV show) had a similar plot one season.

Superman hasn't changed much. Our society has become more reactionary in response to the least bit of progress.

Bug Report: Unchecking all but one of the items in the donut chart displays that stats as 0%.

Is this meant to break down each category later? Because it seems pointless either way.

"Convicted Criminal" is pretty vague too. What category would someone with a charge of Jwalking or a traffic fit in here?

You can be proud of the small minority of us IN the country that resist. But this country is not something to be proud of. That's like saying your proud of Germany as a country in the 1930s because Jewish and communist militia's fought the rise of Hitlers brown shirts.

You can be proud of those people. But it's weird to direct it at "the country" because it's essentially resisting everything that that country represents.

Sometimes breaking traffic laws is literally the safer option. The laws are written for cars not people on bikes. Me sitting in the turning lane between a bunch of massive trucks hoping people notice my bike with a flag on the back and remember I'm there when the light changes. Or I ride on the sidewalk and use the crosswalk. Technically one is legal and the other is not (depending on the local laws obviously).

Seriously though. I got the flag after the first time a massive truck pulled up behind me. Realized they literally could forget I'm there their Field of view is so bad.

I really don't know how they are legal. I mean I do. But they shouldn't be. Only thing that big should literally require a commercial license and a valid reason for use.

Yeah I agree. Pretty sure the whole trust part goes out the window when you aren't releasing the actual raw footage to the press.

Unironically, if all they did was just cut out parts they didn't want, using open source ffmpeg to rencode and strip metadata would have been the best way to do it.

Using Adobe is just fucking sloppy. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure Adobe own any content that got uploaded to their servers during the edit. They likely have at least frames of it sitting on their servers if not the whole video.

Everywhere. Even if they have warrants. Seriously. These are Nazis and should be treated as such. Do not let them kidnap people. Shame them until there are enough numbers on your side to fight back.

If you don't know the victims name. Learn it and keep repeating it. Yell "they are trying to kidnap !". It humanizes them further against a masked person that won't identify themselves. It can help attract people around to help.

And it has to be you. Everyone else is in "freeze" mode as they don't know what's going on. You do. You know. You gotta be the one to start resistance. But you won't be alone long.

Fuck these Nazis.

Literally just had the same thing happen to me. This time at Microsoft. Worked for a small startup. It got bought out in 2023 after investments in actual hardware that wasn't named Nvidia died.

Layoffs on most of our engineers. Somehow I survived and basically did no work for 2 years. Was finally laid off.

I hated it. But I basically stole a salary from Microsoft for two years. Fuck these big tech companies.
