I know when I carve turkey / chicken I need to let it cool slightly or it just crumbles. I figured the same was true of things like microwaveable lasagne, let it set or it’ll turn to slop

Anybody got slink to the kickstarter / article for those of us curious but unable to see the video? (Or even a product name)

On my work computer I can absolutely see the benefit of asking “what’s that website I found last week with the …”

On the other hand, there’s no way in hell it’s not grabbing all the sensitive stuff on my screen nobody else should be seeing.

The convenience just isn’t worth the risk

Oh yeah sorry that what I was implying. Somebody is checking the the public service vehicle. Nobody’s checking the private battery bought on eBay

It does happen. Not like the bus driver has time to check the battery has all its relevant safety certs.

Order a chair online. Order confirmation email: “we’ll be in touch in 48 hours with shipping information” Email from Hermes: “we’re expecting your package” Me: ah fuck

When I update the app via the settings menu, sometimes (not all times) it’ll create two additional Home Screen icons. One named Voyager and another named vLemmy.

I have previously had the app on my Home Screen with both these names. I’m guessing it’s weird legacy config from previous installs.

How exactly does the update feature work? Why, if it’s a web app, do I need to update at all? Doesn’t it just auto update when you load the app?

What is this witchcraft?
