Almost all remote-work news is negative now but was positive in the beginning of the pandemic. Have you noticed this or am I going crazy? in c/workreform@lemmy.world

I think allot of Banks have a ton of assets tied up in commercial real estate. This is the real reason they are pushing everyone to go back to work. A lot of powerful people will loss money if the commercial real estate market crashes.

You don't have to even disable it, just turn off voice commands. You can still activate it by pushing a button. Personally Ive been using Bing chat over Google assistant for a few months now.

I use this https://gitlab.com/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-clean-filters/-/raw/main/bpc-paywall-filter.txt works well for NYTimes. you just add this list to your favorite adblocker I use Firefox with Ublock

Democracy is good for the oligarchs. Trump is a populist. The oligarchs definitely don't like him. Even the Koch family is against him.
