I deal with the same thing. I had written for several small publications, and one way I overcame my disconnect from emotion was just by stream of conscious describe things. The way I'm subconsciously describing it tends to reveal my feelings for it. Directly, i really feel nothing for it but under the layers I do have a sense of emotion for it.

Been reading Dune, almost done then I'm reading Dune Messiah. Working to finish the whole series by the end of the year.

I have not seen any of the movies.

Been playing for a while already. Daggerfall is a favorite of mine. The devs are making a new game called Wayward Realms. It looks like Daggerfall with modern graphics. Down the the weirdness of the layout for the world, with random crypts and graveyards miles from anything at all.

Gentoo gaming and music production rig working through mostly tty with dwm as a graphical display. I typically stay on tty until I want to play a game, use modern web, or record a song. Otherwise tty with Links browser.

What's been the toughest sacrifice you've made for lent?

Somehow I also met my girlfriend on instagram. I was running a review page at the time for extreme films and music. I made a the joke, "the higher the hair, the closer to god" on a mutual online friend's post, and she liked the comment. I already had a thing for her, so I decided to message her. I don't remember what I said, but she said she knew I absolutely had to be autistic within a few minute's based on that message and the way my reviews were done. Now we've been together 5 years, so it panned out pretty good. Pullin goth bitches with my autism swag.

I remember my parents crying because I couldn't socialize growing up. I was always actively suicidal and couldn't connect with kids my age. I probably would've ended up like anon if I didn't get forced into doing activities.

I am 24, autistic, straight edge, and a data analyst. I'm the youngest person in my company, the closest person to me in age is 45. I haven't used a regular social media site since I was 14. My only interaction with modern discourse is my girlfriend's 18 year old sister. When she talks she might as well be speaking another language. My hobbies are unix, classic literature, VHS collecting, and synthesizers. My girlfriend calls me her 80 year old boyfriend.

Nice. I've been linux daw shopping as of late. My girlfriend's computer died so I let her borrow my music laptop, which is my only windows machine. So, I haven't done much lately. I'll have to look into this.

Never seen a stove with knobs on the front outside of restaurant kitchens. I've been in many houses of varying wealth levels, and never seen that unless in a residential kitchen.
