Which reminds me, I should set up a small regular donation to their representative organization in the EU.

I really should do that too. Do you know where I find who is their representative organisation in the EU?

Will try out, thanks!

Yeah, I have that one, and it does have OMEMO (XEP-0384) and Jingle calls (XEP-0166), but I can't find anything in the documentation about XEP-0396.

I'm trying to find a client, Windows, Linux or Android, which has Extension Jingle Encrypted Transports (XEP-0396). Anyone has any ideas?

If it has, I assume it would also already have OMEMO (XEP-0384) and Jingle calls (XEP-0166).

Same here. Plus I don't store the KeePass files in the cloud, as service or otherwise.

Why not Joplin? The two standard pages are notes and to do. Sync if you have a Nextcloud space, Dropbox, etc. Encrypt your notes and lists. Open source...

I have used it for years, can really recommend it.

Don't assume that the European commissioners and their staffs know what they are doing or understand these matters. The depth of their collected knowledge could easily be documented in a single Powerpoint. And with not too many slides. And Ylva Johansson is well known for being both ignorant and utterly manipulated by lobbyists.

+1 on that. LibreWolf, use the compartments feature and clean cookies and history every time you close the browser. And you come a long way.

Two I use a lot daily are KeePass 2 in various versions, computer as well as tablet. I used KeePass "original" 1 for years, but moved to 2/XC/DX. Occasionally also used for storing notes and not just passwords.

My notetaker, all hands down, though. Joplin, with encryption activated, the file stored for syncing on my privacy oriented community's encrypted NextCloud. I am an avid notetaker, both digital and analogue, and Joplin really fits my needs.

OK, third, honourable mention: Veracrypt

As some others, I use Jerboa. Tried a few others, but happy with it.

Not sure, but I couldn't find Tox (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tox_(protocol)) anywhere?

"We should debate them... And defeat them on the Marketplace of Ideas." Yeah, right.

I am having problems reaching Tuta through Mull on my Android (Mull 120.0.0, downloaded from f-Droid). Checking, I saw that Fennec is version 120.1.0.

Just in general, does any of you peeps here have any takes on Mull vs Fennec when it comes to privacy? I have assumed both are on par and also comparable to LibreWolf on PC.

Also wanted to test linking a Mastodon post of mine to my Lemmy account. If anything bungles up, sorry in advance!
