I didn't realize white-hatting was so profitable...

They won't, because there's no other company that can credibly meet the Artemis objectives for a lunar lander in a reasonable time frame. Boeing is the main competitor but they're already struggling to satisfy all of their current contracts: Starliner was supposed to be operational in 2017, but it had its first crewed test flight this year and it malfunctioned seriously enough that they decided it wasn't safe to bring the astronauts home on it. NASA pulling SpaceX off of the Artemis project would functionally be the end of it.

As someone who swore off WoW not for gameplay reasons, but due to appalling behavior by Blizzard management, I'm not sure I think associating your political campaign with the game is a good idea.

The problem with this one is that, as a reader/watcher/whatever, it affects your experience even when it doesn't happen. I was so convinced that Dumbledore was alive at the end of book six. Fell off a balcony? Point of view character gets dragged to the infirmary so we can't see what happens after that? There's a phoenix, a bird associated with healing and rebirth, conspicuously singing? That guy is pulling a Gandalf in the next book for sure.

So I spent the whole next book waiting for the dramatic reveal that never came...

In the opening sequence of Final Fantasy XII, two separate characters get stabbed through the "stylish" gaps in their armor... and somehow this doesn't prompt anyone else to reconsider their armor choices.

"The mentor/parent has to die so that the hero can prove they're self-actualized" or whatever. It's okay for your hero to have living parents, even if their parents are also heroes. I promise your story won't be less interesting if your character's mentor figure survives.

What a good girl! If I were hurt at home, my dog would interfere with any attempts to come to my aid; she doesn't trust anyone who comes into the house even if I introduce them to her... it took her most of a year to warm up to my roommate.

Is being suspended even a punishment? I would have been psyched to be suspended, I hated going to school.

Oh I fully agree with you!

Sorry isn't "gender identity" the most common public restroom type in America, and also the opposite of the one they're concerned about? They aren't putting windows in the boys' room or the girls' room, which are segregated by gender. These are the gender neutral restrooms that they want to peek into (or really, discourage anyone from using). Up is down with these people.

Edit: Wait, I just looked at the picture again. The caption says gender neutral, but the actual signage on the restroom says "Boys" and then below that "Gender Inclusive" and I'm not sure how those two things go together.

It's their own fault for cheating by psychically knowing I was stealing items despite being [Hidden] and teleporting into the room as soon as I stopped hiding. If they wanted to keep their torso un-ventilated they should have minded their own fuckin' business!
