Yes, but don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

So do we all.

Nothing good you mean

That's exactly what they're used for. It's to prevent a vehicle from going too far in that direction, which would typically damage a structure or something expensive or harmful

Sure, but speaking as someone with a lot of knowledge of IT systems, RPO, RTO, etc., I can say that the RPO of deleting your accounts gets worse and worse for the NSA or whoever to keep track of as time goes on.

They're not the internet archive where they've got snapshots of all text ever said on the web. They've got crawlers and systems and storage tiers same as anyone else. They have to cycle those backups of their snapshots at some point, and that's when you can eventually slide your way out of their window as long as the things you've said or done are no longer on the internet anywhere. They will eventually disappear from databases and systems like PRISM.

They should fingerprint you. Same as when you get a TSA precheck or global entry thing. There's a meeting they have to do, in a passports case, usually at the post office, where they take your fingerprints as a part of the biometrics.

It's pretty universal for holding a passport in most countries IIRC.

It's possible that never happened, but they took my fingerprints both with a passport, my Global Entry, and a DOJ/FBI background check (this one I know takes your fingerprints for sure, had to get a few of these done for work related reasons).

Wonder if muskrat has already found some gamer to pretend to be him for this one as well.

I bet, when pressed, musk will talk about how great the grind is in poe2 from 1-70...

Chefs.

There can be a ton of cooks in the kitchen, but shouldn't be more than one Chef.

Lol. The French will not suffer American idiots like Trump and his lackeys.

[–] longjohnjohnson@lemmy.ml 12 points 6 days ago

Nobody who's knows Trump personally, likes Trump.

Couldn't he just make up whatever number he wants here? It's all just funny money. I seriously doubt $45billion changed any hands anywhere.

Alternatively, do an fbi background check at your local post office, or get a passport and they'll capture the same biometrics.
