My father in law owns fireworks stores, so instead of the thumbs up emoji. He sends the fireworks emoji.

Me: Hey, I dropped off some papers on your counter and brought in a package from your porch.

Father-in-law: 🎇

We ask her now! Come on this show, Kamala, we’ll have a box of wine!

Greg's none-too-subtle, weird, and baseless jab at Kamala as a supposed drunk, dressed up as an earnest invite for a genuine interview... you're totally a legitimate journalist, dude. No idea why your entire network keeps copping out of responsibility for the defamation and dangerous lies in your broadcasts by saying that you're merely an entertainment platform and no reasonable person would believe your blatant fabrications and criminal negligence. Clearly you are a bastian of good faith reporting and journalistic integrity.

The symbiote keeps kosher, doesn't it.

Seconded. They are not laughing at your misuse of the words grammatically. They are laughing at the unintentional parallel to the way bigots talk about the people they target with their hate/insults. For a joke, they are twisting the meaning of your words to imply that when you say "those people" you are referring to some minority or marginalized group in a derogatory way. "Those people are loud" is an innocent statement on it's own when referring to a group of people being disdisruptive. But "Those people are loud" when "those people" refers to an entire demographic of people is a derogatory stereotype. "What do you mean thoooose people?"

And giving Trump gonorrhea. Allegedly.

Humor wasn't the goal. Making apparent the racism of Vance and Trump's words was. If repeating back the racism someone else used in order to deride them somehow applies that same racist stigma onto me, I would argue that your priorities are misplaced. If I had directly quoted them and cited the quotation would the reaction have been the same? Because it amounts to the same level of disconnect from the words to me. But whatever. Not a hill I care to die on. I'll delete it. Didn't mean to upset anyone.

That was meant to be parody exaggerating the racist shit JD just said and combining it with the racist shit Trump said previously. I didn't make that clear enough, clearly. This does not reflect my viewpoint whatsoever.

The kind where people don't write down their units until the end

Edit: i didn't make it clear enough. This is parody combining the racist shit JD just said with the racist shit Trump said previously. In no way does this reflect my actual viewpoint.

You all nag about how Americans have no food culture of their own, that they just steal and adapt other countries' foods. Then when you see true American creation and innovation, you reel back in fear and disgusting. Cowards!

... but I don't.

... rubs eyes

... but I don't.

...

IN WHAT FUCKING UNIVERSE IS THAT EVEN REMOTELY, METAPHORICALLY, GENEROUSLY TRUE!? The man cannot open his mouth without generally talking about how everyone on the left is actively, intentionally and malevolently destroying America, and that's when he is not actively calling for his highly volatile MAGA followers to do unethical, and even illegal, things to ensure "they don't steal this election". His followers break into and flood the Capital Building leaving police officers in their wake, conspire to kidnap governors, break into Nancy Pelosi's home and beat her husband to within an inch of his life when they don't find her, not to mention all the general violence and hate of those like the Proud Boys, the Patriot Front, and other white Christian nationalists. The idea that anyone could ever possibly see you as innocent in, at minimum, your rhetoric is mistifying.

I'm not Bi, per se. But if Ryan Reynolds was game.... this might be about me too.
