I recently copied ~1.6T from my old file server to my new one. I think that may be my largest non-work related transfer.

Dude, imagine my surprise when I pop up a random video I'm interested in and see that urban pop Earthworm Jim in the background. Glad to see we both ended up in the same refuge.

Isn't that the government group behind the Got Milk campaign?

I think because Powell and Chesebro were the only two that requested a speedy trial. The others cases will still happen, just not until later.

Take your upvote and go. This comment is way underappreciated.

The only thing I can tell you is that if you get a keyboard with a bad membrane, it CAN be fixed but it's a huge pain in the ass since you need to replace all the little plastic tabs on the chassis with tiny bolts.

I have both an OG model M and a unicomp model M mini. They both feel great and seem to have zero issues. My first model M was a 1987 and I used a string of pigtail adapters to get it from AT to USB and while it didn't start working until my OS started booting, it was my favorite of all time. It got lost after we went work from home during COVID and they had a moving company pack our desks up. There is not a day I don't miss that keyboard.

With all that said, I don't have any experience with the rp2040 controlled unicomps. If you can get an actual model M on the cheap, I say go with that. If not, unicomps are a fine product in my experience.

The Soul of a New Machine. It really changed the way I think about computers in general.

Didn't we define mooches for situations just like this?

One of the best tool I got from therapy was learning HALT. Hungry Angry Lonely Tired. These are all triggers and being in one or more of these states is often at the root of wanting to drink. For me, StopDrinking was a good way to head off the Lonely part of that lovely barber shop quartet. Just having the knowledge that HALT is a thing and stopping for a little introspection to see if I was under any of those states went a long way to helping me in the first year of my sobriety.

Hope this helps. You can do this. IWNDWYT.
