If only Lemmy were ready for c/antimeme (and the confusingly adjacent c/bonehurtingjuice)

Saying "Lemmy/Mbin/Piefed" is too long, just Lemmy is reductive, "Threadiverse" doesn't really roll off the tongue,we are only a subset of the Fediverse. What would you call us? Horrible names allowed in c/fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Since a lot of the discourse is around getting back to forums and the vibe of that era, this feels pretty apt.

Is there an easy way to share a lemmy thread in a way that's instance-agnostic (they can view it on their instance even if it's different from mine) ?

Similarly, any way to quickly switch to viewing a linked post on my instance if it's linked through another?
