For what it's worth, I've played a lot of this game. My wife and I are even playing it now!

I just wish it felt like someone cared about this game, from a developer perspective.

Just came here to rant.

The other Mariokarts have charm. They're polished in their own way.

Mariokart 8 is a polished turd.

Boooooooooooooo

Yikesaroni! Congrats on making it through.

I drive as little as I can these days, but I used to drive a lot in Chicago. Talk about aggression! It's like a game everyone is playing and you get points by being the biggest asshole who.

I live in Portland now and driving here for the first time was a real eye-opener. Still terrible in it's own ways! But at least the drivers seem to want to cooperate for safe trips all around, for the most part.

Fuck cars.

The days are long but the years are short, it’s been said.

Not everyone operates in typical ways. Isn’t it also possible that someone started the telegram in hopes like-minded folks would join?

I am not religious. There are definite evils in this world though. This fuck is evil and unworthy of even another thought from any of our beautiful minds.

Though he does seem worthy of some very well-placed kicks from our beautiful feet…

Joking, of course! I know I wouldn’t want to get that close to a human cess pool - I’d rather go to a “Random Loud Noises That Are Scary To Me + Small Talk + All The Music That Grates On My Nerves” convention.

Lol i was about to recommend these KZ ZSR earbuds i got a while back! But then i looked up what IEMs are….

Sorry i can’t be of much help! Fwiw, the KZ ZSRs arent like, prohibitively expensive, so i never worry about em when im doing dishes myself :) but they are just….bulkier and different than traditional earbuds.

Im more of an on-ear kinda person, so i havent been using too many kinds of in-ears, and the in-ears i have tried have kinda sucked. I did used to use in-ears more like, 10 years ago but I’m sure the landscape of in-ears has changed since.

Back in the day, i used to lose mine a lot so i bought cheap. Jlab would have sales quite often so i usually snagged a few pairs of whatever they had then. If i bought in-store, I’d buy….gummies? I think by JVC. Both Jlab and JVC seemed decent, with Jlab being preferred for sure. But they were also just cheap and easy to replace so that played a big part in it, lol.

Good luck on your headphone quest!

I’m with you as far as “humans deserve food that won’t make ‘em sick, regardless of circumstances” but expired food can often still be fine - you just are outside of the manufacturer’s guarantee that it should still be good.

When I gotta choose between “expired food” and “nothing”, I choose to give expired food the visual + sniff + small taste test before consuming.

I’m just a dude from the USA and I use both pronunciations!

Tin-ite-us is my go to but I’m trying to get away from it. It makes it sound like it ends in “-itis” when I say it. This makes it sound like an inflammatory disease, which it isn’t necessarily.

Tinnit-us feels off to say, but it doesn’t imply the “-itis” part, so I’m going for it!
