You’re completely right. Looks interesting and fun and the chaos of escape while bumping into each other sounds fun.

But maybe they add it later.

"Knowing that we wanted to give our thanks to the Xbox community that has shown us love from day 1, we really thought about the kinds of things we would want to see as fans of Cuphead. The goal was to make this update feel like a real peek behind the scenes at what went into bringing the game to life, across all parts of development."

Nothing against the devs here, but it is really not the gamers fault that it was only available on Xbox and not on PS and Switch. I wanted to “support” this game from day 1, but I couldn’t, since it was Xbox exclusive…

Imho, if you release a game on a platform, you should release the full game and not only parts of it.

But maybe this was also part of their xbox deal, idk.

Yeah, that’s true. I think that also Honda was not completely ready and the failure with mclaren helped them to become what they are now.

It’s going the be really interesting to see what will happen to AM… how long will stroll be in the seat if he keeps underperforming? Will alonso stay?

2021 was really something else… I actually stood up during the during the last few laps haha

At least this year there is some action in F1.5 (F1 being red bull), which mclaren also joining.

Plus the benefits of basically making their own engine and develop it together with the car.

This is for sure the next logical step, like aston is doing with honda.

The future looks bright.

I believe it when I see it…

Unfortunately, it’s going to be really hard to catch red bull… who knows when they started shifting their focus to next years car.

Imagine a battle between Merc, Ferrari, McLaren and the RB… one can only dream.

I got all my news from reddit… and now from lemmy.

But if you like podcast, there are also many good ones, which also cover all the news. These are the once I’ve subscribed to in no particular order:

  • The Race F1 (+ Tech Show)
  • EngineBreaking (*)
  • Missed Apex (*)
  • BBC Chequered Flag
  • F1: Beyond the Grid
  • F1 Nation

(*) these are my favourite ones

I basically listen to them (and also other podcasts or audiobooks) instead of music.

I assume you are playing on PC, as I can’t justify an extensive PC upgrade right now, I’m stuck on my PS5 - but I’ve also heard good things about the console.

I really enjoy the app so far, so thank you for your work!

The markdown option are really something else here - makes things so much easier. I do like to quote a lot in my posts, so copying parts of the comment I’m replying to would be really great! I really don’t know how hard or easy this is to implement…

Keep up the good work and have a nice day!

Bonus suggestion: are multicommunities (akin to multireddits) on the horizon?

I played it even one day earlier on PS5… and the experience really wasn’t that great tbh, and than I had a game breaking bug on top of that as well.

I decided to just wait for the DLC and the big patch… we’ll, this took 3 years haha

[–] chrisphero@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

From what I’ve heard, the new 2.0 update and DLC are really great! So I really hope I can finally play it now haha.

I’ve also heard good things about the performance and bugs!

Did you play the new DLC?

[–] chrisphero@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

My many problem where honestly the bugs (had a game breaking one and I just saved…) and the performance…

it's still not the game they marketed but it's unlikely it ever would be.

I agree! It was just way too much and too big… even with their development time, I mean look how long GTA6 takes.
