The only things that will destroy the earth are planet busting asteroids and the Sun going pop. All climate change will destroy is this iteration of life on it.

This brings to mind the waves made by that Cyberpunk PR piece showing how you can customise genitals, giving the impression that nudity won't be censored when in fact it heavily was. Contrast to Larian's marketing masterpiece of "you get to screw a bear" which seemed absurd but was totally real, and uncensored.
