Oh yes, please protect ducks and kittens from Trump. That creep assaults everyone

Everybody wants to rule the world in my ass

I miss LAN parties... Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, CS, Diablo, Alien vs Predator 2, Quake and the successors of those games. Good times. Online is nice and all, but nothing compares to playing the night away with friends in one room

This opening move is called "The Russian Statesman". Very traditional.

Even if done "right" privatization is the wrong choice for a lot of things. Like everything that should be a service for all citizens: postal service, health care, water, electricity, ...

When greed is introduced into these services people will suffer for it. Just look at all the examples of privatizations and show me where the outcome was positive for the people.

Never experienced something like that, especially with metal fans who - in my opinion - are some of the most welcoming bunch.

Perhaps it's different in the US, but here in Germany that scenario seems unlikely.

Better then Trump is a low bar and you know it.

No one sane said that he was a bad president (although he could have been a lot better) just that he is too old for the job.

I would say that anyone younger and progressive would do better than him.

Bernie would have won (according to polls) if the DNC hadn't sabotaged him at every turn. Too polarizing? No, just too left for the Democrats.

Well, the only thing that could reasonably help us would be to demolish the 1% and the corrupt politicians who support them. And yes, that would include an armed uprising.

Not that that I see that happening unless it gets much worse. We still have (some) bread and games left to pacify the masses.

With a sigh he cleans the up the tally for the 7th period. "Can't call it near death anymore"

Oh yes. The company where I work at does these performance reviews: doing 100% gives you a 'C' (as a grade). I do everything that is expected from me without anything to complain about? Yeah, that's not good enough.

Fuck that.

There is the silent complaint that you could do more... Give up your spare time for your work. Work yourself tired and burn out for your company! That's what they want to see.

I'm looking for a new job while I still work there.

Depends on the job, but I think more like 5 figures. Still enough to live comfortably, but of course not enough for these greedy fucks. The reason so many are millionaires is not their salaries.
