That's the point where I'd politely ask them to come outside with me, then beat the shit out of them while repeating "Your body (punch), my choice (punch)" until I felt they got the point.

Oil and gas are the apple that will get us kicked out of Eden.

If this results in the Kroger Albertsons merger going through I'm going to be so pissed.

Aside from that, we have far too many monopolistic companies that need to be brought down a peg. This is going to be miserable.

Yes, my MAGA family members bought Trump's line of "I don't know who is involved in that".

I actually think you're wrong. Having MAGA family members, I tuink they are legitimately brainwashed. They are in a bubble where they don't hear the bad about Trump. They only hear good things about him and ad things about his enemies. Some of what they hear is true, much of it is lies, all of it is intended to scare.

I think that, had these people heard the same things the rest of us did, at least some of them would be voting differently. Not all, but enough.

As an American who follows this stuff pretty closely, a national abortion ban will be opposed in the courts by the states, but it will very quickly get to the Supreme Court to assess the constitutionality of the ban. When congress passes a law, the president signs it, and the Supreme Court rules that the law is constitutional, that is basically the end of it. Our current court will absolutely uphold a national abortion ban.

I think that the only way we avoid a national abortion ban under a Trump presidency is if the House of Representatives refuses to pass the ban. There is a slim chance that would happen but it's possible.

Honestly we need to get rid of the $1 bill generally but that’s a completely different post all together.

What do you replace them with? Coins have been tried and rejected by consumers a few times now.

I carry around PowerPoint presentations that contain huge loops of satellite data. I love my 1TB USB stick.

They currently live in the US. So, whether they properly answered your prompt seems to depend on your definition of "your country".

The problem is that Republicans are being told that there is proof. That the fraud is rampant and everyone knows it. It's just that "they" keep removing and hiding the information.

My mom seriously believes that there is mountains of proof and that she has seen it in the past, but can't find it anymore because it has been deleted from the internet.

I'm a white guy from a fairly non-diverse city. I was at a grocery store today where a cashier opened up their line to serve me and, I thought, the person behind me. As they were serving me, though, they put up their lane closed sign right in front of the black man behind me. The buy was just trying to purchase some tuna, bread, and peanut butter.

The cashier basically decided to serve me, a middle class white man, but refused to serve the black man behind me. I was so shocked that I didn't say anything. It is possible that I misunderstood the situation but it seemed so blatant.

What should I have done in this situation? Should I have spoken up? Would that have just been more embarrassing for the man who was being discriminated against?

Honestly, I'm still just in shock to see someone treated so poorly when they were simply trying to buy food for themselves. I recognize that means that I'm sheltered but I also feel like I should be able to use my unearned privilege to help others who are being discriminated against.

I got lucky and this guy posed for me for about five minutes. I tried to get some in flight, but they're simply too fast for me!
