I need like a little guide. Not a 20 page document, Ideally I have a proposal within a day or 2.

For irl activism.

Right now the left thing I'm in runs fraudulent elections within itself. Only ppl present can vote, no voter anonymity etc.

NOT THE FOOD

Mostly help and support

I have tried: taping them together, hot glueing them together and ziptying it right to the frame to prevent jiggle.

All have failed.

Right now, when I reconnect them and apply pressure, I can't even get the engine to turn on anymore. But the speedometer still works and that signal is sent through the engine cable too.

Recently, sometimes the engine rear wheel barely rolls when I roll the bike backwards.

There are no ebike repair stores in my city.

As a general rule:

Machiavellianism is manipulation

Narcissism is looks

Psychopathy is violence

ChatGPT tells me this question is very offensive to psychopaths and refuses to answer.

Kinda managed to attract a founder of FOSS note taking app (which got tens of thousands of users). He made his first post in this unofficial community

let's address the possibility that like mastodon/matrix 99% of ppl will flock to the biggest handful of servers

What is the real value of decentralization given that? Outside of like political unrest.

And what role do small servers really do in that landscape? Obv "novelty" servers like midov cater to the like lolicon enthusiasts and I'm sure there are a few other servers dedicated to illegal things. Regional severs are quite compatible with various nationalists/patriots

PG 2 of the Fedizens Times June 5

The Beehaw financial report with alyasha

our hopefully-final update of where we stand is a break-even of $54 a month or $648 a year. (please once again ignore OC's estimated yearly budget--we don't determine it lol)

our expenses are currently:

  • $48/mo toward our host, Digital Ocean. (reversible. if we need to commit to further than this it is also likely we will seek another host since DO is on the expensive side)
  • $2/mo for weekly backups
  • $4/mo for daily snapshots of the website, which would allow us to restore the website in between the weekly backups if need be.

for a total of at least $54/mo in expenses. this may vary from month to month though, so we're baking in a bit of uncertainty with our estimation.

we currently have, for the month of June:

  • $85/mo in recurring donations (at least for June)
  • $620 this month in one-time donations

for a total of $705 this month. our total balance now stands at 726.51.

that balance means we now have about a year of reserves currently, if we received no other donations and have no unexpected expenses. i'm sure we'll have churn in our monthly donations and such though, so please don't hesitate to donate on our OpenCollective page if you'd like to keep the site going.
