I love stuff that crosses genre lines -- so your stuff sounds right up my alley. It's funny how the words never quite seem to want to cooperate. Anything you've been struggling with in particular?

Ooh, that story sounds devestating -- in a good way. Great line as well. The struggle to balance passion and survival is really prevalent these days (thanks capitalism!). Best of luck with it.
Sounds quite gritty, but also fascinating -- I get what you mean about handing over control of your work. Do you share it anywhere though?
Yes! Get your work out there!
If you write, and especially if you write seriously, you're a writer! It's the only part of the process we have any real control over. If it's not too forward -- where do you think the reluctance to submit comes from?
I'd love to know more about the kind of stories you do!
It can be a lot harder than it looks! Even when you've been doing it for years -- and I think a lot of even authors agree that every project throws up new challenges. No book or story is ever easy. What's your animated show about?
Scribophile.com also provides a very good version of this -- critique for points, then share your work, plus forums and all. Been years since I used either of them though.
My characters always come first -- well, that and the world they inhabit, as I work mainly in fantasy. Character and world are so intertwined for me, after all, we're all a result of our contexts and background.
