Not necessarily, modern having keyboards can operate at upwards of 1khz polling speed. The main difference is, that usb needs polling in the first place, whereas ps/2 is interrupt based.

That essentially means that ps/2 tells the computer "hey a key was just pressed" instantly and usb waits to be asked whether a key was pressed or not. If the latter is done often enough the difference becomes negligible.

Idk about where you live, but "versuchter Totschlag" is very much a thing in Germany. Translates to attempted manslaughter and is in essence an extension to aggravated assault for cases where it should be obvious to the perpetrator, that their actions are significantly likely to cause death.

Specifically kicking the head of a person who is already on the ground is one of the things that is basically guaranteed to get you charged with that .

That shouldn't be a setback of ten years, it should be an automatic attempted manslaughter charge and exclusion from any job that gives immediate power over strangers.

I mostly agree, but saying nobody ever sculpted in marble is a bit like saying nobody ever painted with oil paint because most of the most well known oil paintings were done according to sketches made with charcoal or pencil.

Of course there are still sculptors around! Like most art sculptures have gotten more abstract tho. Visit any museum of modern Art and you are sure to find some!

Marble and the like are of course incredibly expensive, and for that reason most people stick to more affordable options like wood or ice. Or do additive sculpting with clay/plaster, welding or something like that. If you really want to work with stone you might want to apprentice with a stonemason.

How did I start? Took a pocketknife in my hand and started whittling. The foundations of working in a subtractive manner are largely independent of material.
