In normal chess, time doesn't really exist in the normal way that a dimension works. Using one or more time dimensions in a game means you need to be able to control some movement along that axis. In normal chess, every piece moves one "space" (for lack of a better word) forward in time with each move.

If you want to actually see time dimensions being used in a game, try playing 5d chess with multiverse time travel

My general assumption for the lowest I can expect a person to behave is basically always looking for their own absolute gain, and any attitude towards other people comes secondary to that. So while a person living by this standard wouldn't donate to charity without some other motive, they would have basically the same answer to something like the trolley problem as anyone else.

Am I wrong thinking of this as a "minimum reasonable behavior", or is there something people actually gain from the suffering of other people?

This question was born out of seeing how people are being treated by the US government at the moment, but I'm asking about more than just that. People like abusive partners/family, hostile cops, or just bullies in general.

the whole point is to follow the laws of a book

No. The whole point is a relationship with God. The reason we read the Bible is to learn more about God. The Bible isn't an instruction manual, it's a biography of God and his people.

It depends. Do I trust the place?

Vanilla is pretty much always good. It's hard to go wrong with vanilla. Chocolate is much more variable. A good chocolate is better than a good vanilla, but a bad chocolate is much worse.

No rolls barred on YouTube did a video on hard mode pictionary. You could use some of those ideas.

Two languages. English and Maori.

Thank you in Maori is "kia ora" (key-ah or-ah, but mostly said more like k-your-ah). Literally translates to "be well", kia meaning be, ora meaning life/wellness.

Please in Maori is a bit less clear. There is the word "koa" (I don't know how to phonetically write it, but all the letters are pronounced the same as above), but that's a concept that came with pakeha (European settlers). Before that, it was more about the tone of the request.

Edit: actually I do know more, but English and Maori are the two main languages I know any of.

What was the use before the Arabs?

Probably "with great power comes no accountability, and therefore great responsibility". It's the lack of accountability that means responsibility is needed.

Get him a small bucket. He'll make sure there's enough for everyone.

This feels like Pliny the Elder logic

What does someone have to do that means no amount of remorse or effort to fix things will get you to forgive them? I don't mean forgive and forget to the point where they can hurt you again. If someone repeatedly steals from you, forgiveness doesn't mean putting them in a position where they can steal again.

I'm asking this purely out of curiosity. I'm just wondering what the attitude in my corner of the internet is.

There's a mod I want to make, but I've never made a mod for any game before. What resources are there for starting out?

I know programming well enough so that's not a barrier, this is more about mod structure and testing

The most versatile of foods, creating chips, hash browns, and vodka, among other things. Which option is the best one?

IMO some good hot chips (fries for you incorrect Americans)

What movie do you want made? If you got a pitch meeting with a producer and a guaranteed green light, what would you say?
