It's Horner, he isn't exactly known for making logical decisions

Is the majority enthusiastic to vote for him? His own campaigning rallies were a snorefest, as far as we saw.

For me the main "a-ha" here is that so many people apparently still believe his stupid story that he is a guy who makes deals to fix the economy. Instead of a con-man. I have no idea why democrats were not able to destroy this "economic leader" image that he has built. Or why Harris and Walz did not focus on the issue every poll in the last month did say was the most important one: the economic situation.

I mean, the article clearly says that she won moderates.

[–] Microw@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

Well the actual numbers in the article above are misleading, as they talk in percentages of self-identified/registered voters. And what we have seen in this election is that there has been a big move of people who used to be (r) to moderates (according to NBC on their election coverage). So it's not making sense to compare percentage numbers.

It is only natural:

a project that fans have asked for for years doesn't have a single creative direction, but already planted ideas in so many different heads of fans. Expectations are various, everyone wants to see his/her version realized, while the studio struggles to understand what those versions are.

A project no one has asked for does not have any expectations yet. It has a single creative vision by the creator and can't really disappoint.

Isn't that basically Kenny on South Park?

And like they say, they have asked for years regarding the use of that money and FIA has straight up ignored any inquiry.

I think it's actually more gracious than what Red Bull keeps doing in silently dropping people without a word and only announcing signings.

They also said it won't film back-to-back with Secret Wars.

Feige did confirm that all four core members of The Fantastic Four will star in the film alongside Robert Downey Jr as Dr Doom. Benedict Cumberbatch revealed back in June that he would reprise his role as Doctor Strange in the film. Kevin Feige also confirmed that the Thunderbolts would appear in Avengers: Doomsday, but he did not say which members of the team fans could expect to see.

Marvel revealed during NYCC 2024 that Daredevil: Born Again will officially premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.

Formula 1 is to adjust its budget cap from 2026 to offset the costs of teams that operate in countries with higher salary levels, BBC Sport has learned.

The move will help Audi’s attempts to become competitive when it enters F1 officially in just over a year’s time.

Audi has bought the Sauber team, who are based in Switzerland where salaries are in the range of 35-45% higher than in the UK or Italy - where the other nine teams have headquarters.

“It’s become really convenient to pick on [Marvel films],” Sebastian Stan said. “And that’s fine. Everyone’s got an opinion. But they’re a big part of what contributes to this business and allows us to have smaller movies as well. This is an artery traveling through the system of this entire machinery that’s Hollywood. It feeds in so many more ways than people acknowledge.”

“Sometimes I get protective of it because the intention is really fucking good,” Stan added at the time. “It’s just fucking hard to make a good movie over and over again.”

Stan’s Bucky/Winter Soldier will be front and center in next year’s Marvel tentpole “Thunderbolts,” and he hopes the character stays around long enough to meet Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom on the big screen.

“I hope I’m in a scene with him,” Stan says. “Is there any other guy that could pull that off? I don’t know, probably not. After ‘Tropic Thunder,’ is there anything that guy can’t do?”

It’s been six years since Steve Rodgers handed over Captain America reigns to Sam Wilson, Aka The Falcon, in “Avengers: Endgame.” Wilson (Anthony Mackie) will be the lead of Julius Onah’s “Captain America: Brave New World.” A trailer was released in the summer.

Two different cuts of the film test screened last week, and plot details for one of the cuts have leaked online. The person who attended didn’t seem to like the movie all that much.

Based on the folks I’ve spoken to, those who attended were either given a red or green bracelet and were split up into two different theaters. The reactions I’ve heard have not been very kind to this movie, which is being described as “inessential” and “flat.”

...

Reshoots on ‘Brave New World’ happened in August. This could explain why two different cuts were shown. Last year, after receiving negative test scores in another screening, and Marvel themselves underwhelmed by an early cut they saw of the film, ‘Brave New World’ was delayed to February 2025. Extensive reshoots were called, with “three major action sequences” having been filmed, between May and August 2024 in Atlanta.

‘Brave New World’ had originally wrapped filming in June 2023, and was set for a July 2024 release date, but it’s now turned into this monstrous mess for Marvel. You just don’t push a movie this big out of your calendar, and then decide to dump it in February, unless major trouble is brewing.

Last December, Matthew Orton was hired by Marvel to pen “additional scenes and material”. Orton’s work was shot during this summer’s reshoots. They’ve also added new characters to the story. Will audiences even show up to a Captain America movie that doesn’t star Chris Evans?
