Not a vegan: remember we raise a lot of these plants just as feed. If the reason to feed disappeared, so would the vast quantity of “not tasty” plants.

Dehydrate and turn into a powder. That 2-3kg will make like 200g of powder that adds a big umami hit to anything it is added to.

It’s mind blowing that both of them are still operating and they are nearly a light-day away from us.

Sugar is neutral in PH, but can be used to help balance out overly acidic food. I would be worried that in this case it would just bolster the flavor of the lemon if it is strong enough that you can detect it in the sauce.

Baking soda should work fine and just turns the acid into CO2 and salt, but if it has a flavor of lemon, it sounds like you are dealing with lemon oils in the sauce.

You could try cutting it with some fat (milk, cream or butter), and I would try adding more onion and/or garlic to complement/mask the lemon.

You should probably consider buying a different base tomato sauce in the future.

If you are worried your mail in ballot is having issues, many states will allow you to cast a “provisional ballot” that only gets counted after they verify if your mail in ballot was processed.

I’m also considering getting a full electric car, but have a little range anxiety mixed with a general feeling that the improvements over the next couple years will make current electric cars obsolete, so I am following along with this thread!

In b4 McD’s changes the franchising agreement to require all events with media present to be approved by McD’s corp prior to the event.

Joining the “IANAL” and “YMMV”: The big catch here is that at no point in the production process can it have over 0.3% by weight, so you can’t just add a concentrate to the item if the concentrate is over 0.3%.

The intent is to provide owners with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different features.

As for cost, carmakers selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch. Among other things, we're looking at average per-driver salary on a daily basis, and we'll be making constant adjustments to ensure that owners have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via subscription.

We appreciate the candid feedback, and the passion the community has put forth around the current topics here on Lemmy, our forums and across numerous social media outlets.

Automakers will continue to make changes and monitor community feedback and update everyone as soon and as often as we can.

Love the app and love the work you are doing on it! Thanks a bunch! I am running into one minor issue:

Right now if you block a community, then search for the community, it shows, but it will appear that there are no post in the community.

Ideally, if I am accessing a community from the search, even if I have blocked it, I would still like to see the post in it rather than having to unblock it.

For example, I almost exclusively use “All” and “Home”, in “All” political subreddits can get over bearing so I blocked it, but when I want to go look at the community in light of recent events, they all show as blank.

Ideally I would love a warning on the search page that I have blocked the community, but clicking into it will still show me all the post of the community.
