I truly believe the world would be a much better place if there was a clear cutoff for wealth. But of course, there would still be weasles out there circumventing such measures. Greed is such an incredibly harmful thing.

Not a single redeeming thing about billionaires. Not a single one. Their "philanthropy" would be entirely unneeded, if they simply paid their fair share back to society, without which they wouldn't have what they have in the first place.

I don't post nearly as much as I would like, because I post some stream related stuff in my own community on lemmy and don't know want to come off as someone who is trying to advertise all the time. I have been reported for that posting to my own community, which... ya know. I get it, nobody cares about yet another streamer dude, but it is a bit intimidating almost.

"We thought the unwashed masses would kill each other for the chance to give us all their money for something intangible and entirely devoid of value, but it appears they are even poorer than we thought they were."

I feel like I saw something on that topic before and no organic matter would survive being hurled out of our atmosphere. It'd burn up entirley and nothing would be left. Maybe if it was like... a sphere with a cave inside?

Tonight on stream I decided my first piece of merch will be a sleeping blindfold with the eyes of my avatar on it.

Now I only need about 15.000 more followers and 1500 more subscribers on twitch to make it actually a viable thing.

I am a sucker for the Anno Series and damn if I am not going to enjoy the heck out of the Roman setting. It'll certainly be an interesting ride.

Sadly they did not kick his ass. They sort of settled in the end, but they lost their special status and self governance stuff to a board controlled by DeSantis but he put a few pro Disney faces on that board to get it all to settle. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_v._DeSantis

I don't know. Disney lost against Ron DeSantis on home turf. Not quite sure what they are going to do against a foreign actor.

Loved it. Every single actor and actress is doing a stellar job. The character arcs are fantastical but also believable due to the obscenely crazy circumstances they all find themselves in during the chosen setting of the show. I am very surprised it has such low ratings, I think it is a triumph in what it set out to accomplish.

I've created this multi-level battlemap for a recent intermission campaign with some mystery and intrigue. You can get it all as pay what you want over on ko-fi and use it in your own campaigns. If you do get around to doing that, do let me know what you think!

The US and the USSR engaged in a race to have the most nukes. After the fall of the Sowjet Union international treaties were put in place to reduce the number of nukes in both east and west.

Don't quote me, but if I remember correctly, at the height of the cold war, both sides had more than 12.000 nukes each.

Humanity had enough fire power to delete the entire globe roughly 40x over then. Why? Because bigger is better.

Ah yes, the rapist doesn't want others to have power over him. Who would have guessed. Fuck him and fuck the panel that decided he could ever join.

Damn, the Impire truly has it's tendrils everywhere!

Clearly me. I am a tiny little youtuber and streamer who wants this place to succeed, so I lurk, I post and don't have a presence on the big platforms.

So if I ever make it big, I can help drive users here. You just wait! It'll happen any day now!

I'm re-reading The Hobbit at the moment. Gandalf might not be a conjurer of cheap tricks, because he's only packing the expensive, high-caliber stuff.

Hello everyone!

After finishing up The Everfog - Field of Spears I got to work on the next single quest module named Mother of Loam

In this one you and your table are going to try and help the town of Brockenbrook reclaim their sleep and venture into the haunted Brockenbrack swamps.

The art prompt and additional illustrations in the PDF were generously supplied by ZebraFeatherAH over on Mastodon. Do give them a look and say hi, if you like their work.

The quick adventure / quest comes as a full PDF and audio transcript.

Hope you enjoy!

Hello everyone!

A few weeks ago I had an idea for a bit of a creative challenge and collaboration to create single quest modules for ttrpgs. I approached some lovely artists over on Mastodon and some agreed to give this a go. Since I mainly play DND, it's d20 compatible, but can be adopted into (probably) anything.

The idea is simple: An artist creates or gives me a piece they've made already without any context or further information. I take what I can see and write a single quest module inspired by the artwork.

The Everfog - Field of Spears is the very first one and it's slightly spooky, halloween-y. Another one (with a similar atmosphere) will be released in the next two weeks.

Here's the first paragraph from the (free) 4-page PDF:

A mysterious and ancient sickly green pyramid sits at the center of the crater atop the mountain Kaal. The crater is eternally covered in a thick and impenetrable fog that seeps over its edges into the surrounding lowlands. Those that are caught in the fog never return and their bodies are never found. The people living near the phenomenon call it “The Everfog”, as it never seems to dissipate. The people are weary and keep away from the fog, crater and pyramid, saying they are cursed or worse.

You can find the full PDF in the blogpost this post links to, as well as a complete audio transcript of the PDF on the blog or over on YouTube.

Please also consider checking out the artist and giving them some support: https://mastodon.social/@trizadella

This is free for you to use in your (non-commercial) campaign. All we ask is that, if you like it - or want more of it, go and give everyone involved some love and help share it around!

Good day everyone, hope you're doing well!

I've made a new video and blog post on the topic of how to deal with sessions where people can't make it.

My solution is fairly simple but effective: The Woven Dream, a state of dreaming where party members experience shared dreams. Besides allowing the group to play instead of skipping a session, it also allows you to really dig into the background of any (or all) of the present characters.

It's not something that'll work every time, but it has served me really well, and I wanted to share the idea with you.

I've also taken the feedback from this and other communities around here and my stuff isn't just videos anymore, but blog posts as well and the blog posts have a full audio narration of the blog post for those that prefer podcasts or to account for accessibility.

Hope it gives you some inspiration!
