"Covenant" and "Prometheus" would've been killer movies to kick off a new IP.
I might be the old man shouting at clouds, but I've been turned off to all franchise "reboots". Just sick of rehashes and revisits and the cute little "winks" these movies do to the previous installments. Have an original thought, damn.

The "built-in support for mods" caught my eye. That's pretty slick, and a headache with MC.
tl;dr - it runs on just about everything, and focuses on giving the player an easy-to-mod "sandbox" to play in.

Nearly breaking her back to bend the truth. That's just "rape" with extra words. Her great-grandfather raped his slaves, and instead of just saying "that's bad" she defends sexual assault. It's hard to wrap my brain around.
I hear you, but consider it goes well beyond the sticky plant - simply possessing marijuana in many areas of the US can still get you thrown in jail. With many of those same states enforcing "mandatory terms" for drug crimes, we have thousands of people jailed for years for non-violent offenses. We have a lot of huge issues to deal with, but the "War on Drugs" from the start was a thin veil for persecuting minorities, and it's still going.
I'm hoping for the rest of your list of requests, too, but personally I think federal weed legalization would have a wider-reaching, far more profound impact on our population than forgiving student loans.
