Nope, it stills drops you straight to the store.

Rather than paying devs for old or new games perhaps Epic could put that money into making their launcher/store good?

The Epic launcher is intensely slow, I've got a 13700k, 32GB RAM, RTX 4080, stupid fast nvme SSD etc. Everything on it should be instant, why does it take ages just to load my library? Why can I not select the library to display by default?

Why is the interface so slow and horrible? Where are all the features of its competitor steam?

Why after all these years has it not seen any real improvement at all?

Works fine here, this might be a kbin/lemmy type formatting thing going on.

Their nation is spending something like half its budget if not more on defence, they can manage a few dozen jets.

Besides, they'll have to phase out their soviet era jets at some point because of the sheer age of them soon. Those Su-24 etc airframes are probably in rough shape by this point.

If Ukraine gets Gripen then they get access to an air platform that can fire the best air to air missile in the world.

Meteor is deadly.

They could use F-16's in the SEAD/DEAD/bomb truck role whilst using the Gripens to shoot down russian jets and helicopters from extreme range.

I'm a simple man, I see a twitter ad I block them.

For me it is gaming support and HDR. (I have a HTPC connected to my 4k HDR OLED TV)

From my understanding HDR support on Linux is still in its infancy. I own a Steamdeck and gaming support is getting really good with Proton.

👆 Case in point.

"Code is the documentation"

Is the laziest excuse I've come across. Like, not everyone knows everything and complex code exists, it is not hard to put in some text explaining the basics of what something does.

Like, unless you're dealing with that code everyday it's going to look like double dutch to anyone new coming to it.

I've had people say that to me before, and it is absolutely infuriating in its laziness and cop out excuse.

I guarantee at some point Musk and x/twitter are going to get bent over by Europe at some point.

Currently playing Baldurs Gate 3, which I need to finish before Starfield, which I need to finish before Spider-Man 2..

So... A supernatural version of Brewsters Millions?
