And they drag them over EVERYTHING.

You're so close, but I was actually able to follow that story as it wandered.

Either you need to make less sense or I need to embrace my impending dementia.

"a ban on leashing an animal without a collar."

Am I not awake enough and missing something? Are harnesses unacceptable? It's someone doing something stupid that I haven't heard of before?

How high is Robert Pattinson?

That guy's just a rando dick that happened to notice you and doesn't have the emotional maturity accept he was wrong about calling you a bot. The rest of us are happy to see people contributing. Carry on :).

Growing up in an environment where mistakes were unacceptable sets the stage. Our willingness and ability to understand that that's fucked up and change our attitudes about mistakes takes more growth.

For some people it's easier to dig in their heels and double down.

As a non denominational Christian that is sickened by the abuse by power hungry "Christians" I'm out here with you :). I get a raised eyebrow now and then since my boyfriend is a Jewish socialist, but honest to God he displays more characteristics of what we're supposed to strive for in loving and caring for others than the majority of self proclaimed Christians I meet.

I pulled my down vote after reading further and realizing your were making a joke. The problem is that I've met too many people who actually believe that.

Yeah, my critical thinking self wonders what kind of magic makes bleeding stop by putting a piece of meat in your cheek.

I work in hospice and regularly visit independent and assisted living facilities. Some are set up like duplexes, some are condo/apartment style. The costs of these facilities can be insane. One of the cheaper independent facilities I was seeing a patient in was charging just over $6000 month for a one room studio. Yes, utilities were included with basic basic cable channels.

I think part of the problem is that when those houses are opening up, investment groups are buying them for rentals.
