Envy is perfectly natural. If you read the comics strip closely, you would find that probably it's Veronica who's envious of that girl. Beauty is a perfectly personal perspective - you cannot objectively label someone beautiful or ugly. Envy is a natural human instinct. It's there in nature. Shame, however, is conditioned into you. In villages in my country, boys as old as 13 or 14 years old roam around naked. People don't bother. Even l used to roam around naked in my house when l was 11, and my uncles used to beat me for putting on a pair of shorts.
