At this point it's "unmoderated comments section" moment. Pretty much all public spaces are infested with this stuff now.

A true lesser of two evils scenario, then. I'm sorry those are your options.

I disagree with OP's editorialized title.

As an avid video gamer, I find myself constantly encountering subtle and overt bigotry in most online games I play. I will always call them out for it, no matter how much whooping it incites from kids just eating their popcorn and enjoying the fight.

Ignoring them is how you let the Andrew Tates of the world win, because they're certainly not taking the high road by remaining silent about their beliefs.

I'm very far from a Musk fan and hate the massive leap towards Kessler Syndrome that Starlink satellites have wrought but... I think you should get Starlink.

The joke is that people (including the main character/OP) feel comfortable criticizing others when those others don't know about the criticism, but as soon as they do, the anti-confrontational/cowardly/etc. part of them immediately regrets being critical.

That's not a "weird tail," that's his exhaust, you ignoramus.

Y'all act like you didn't take Duckology in preschool.

I resent your implication that I cannot connect the dots, but I will demonstrate just to show you how wrong you are.

It's always fascinating to read people out of hurricane-prone areas' take on the expected survival rates for hurricanes. Absolutely amazing that you think only ~25% would survive. Andrew killed 0.0002% of Florida's population (65 deaths), and it was the most destructive hurricane in Florida history.
