Our hunter gather ancestors would be proud, always wake up alert or else the sabertooth will steal our cave!

Imagine my shock of the voting process when moving from Texas to Oregon. From pulling teeth to vote to getting it delivered on a silver platter. It feels so unconstitutional down there.

Clearly not from the up votes on my original comment. But I'm glad you could masturbate your ego there for a bit. Hope the dopamine helped.

Lemmy is so much worse than reddit for this antisocial shit, it's ridiculous. Only a handful of you seem to know how to continue a conversation without choosing to shoot snide remarks and condescension, then wonder why active users are dropping month over month.

I'll cry into my filled weekend social life and life partner of over a decade, you pegged me just so accurately. Super relevant username btw.

Dude, you specified a company and I pointed out their parent company instead. I agreed with your original statement just indicated a better target. In the future, in social situations, a person who isn't filled with angst would normally say something like "Oh you're right, good call" or "Yeah, that would work too." Something that adds to and continues the conversation instead of being a weird, defensive neckbeard about it. Have a good rest of your life, bud.

There's no reason that people should assume you meant Alphabet rather than Google? Seeing as you used "Google" rather than "Alphabet" as they're two different words. English is fun!

[–] Dee@lemmy.world 8 points 9 months ago (8 children)

That needs to happen more with Alphabet than Google but either would be great.

Most situations requiring you to stealth aren’t going to have time for you to get out of your armor

That goes double for heavy armors like plate which takes upwards of twenty minutes to remove depending on the system you're using.

Crit fails/successes are built into Pathfinder2e, so yeah we use em'

Some of the best stories in all my RPG experiences have come from a crit fails!

I really want to see Peertube flourish but I'm just not sure it's going to work out. Video streaming platforms are a much different beast than the micro blogs of Mastodon or forums of Lemmy. But, this is a good step in that direction so good luck to them.

Also from socialvideoplaza.com

This site is not a part of the YouTube website or Alphabet. Additionally, this site is not endorsed by YouTube in any way.

Your random quote from a random website doesn't mean much against the experience of myself and others and how massively disliked videos still get tons of traffic. If you don't want to see certain content don't dislike, just keep moving and don't engage at all. My feed only improved after doing this, when I was disliking videos I kept getting the content I disliked. I didn't engage and now I don't see content I don't want to anymore.

I have never watched more than 10%

You gave 10% engagement and voted with your downvote! Double engagement!

As an Oregonian, yay!

I like visibility and accountability!

Her name is Bara and she's kind of a troublemaker.

A fun read about a royal woman in medieval England who is believed to be the root cause of the kingdom falling. Personally, I like the perspective that she and King Lothar II were actually in love and all the nastiness historians have on Waldra is nothing but the defamation put out by his wife Theutberga. We don't have any way of knowing for sure, but that's how I'm going to interpret this event when I adapt it into my own writing, for the drama 😎

If you're into TTRPG's then you might enjoy the LGBTQ staffers at Paizo (creators of Pathfinder) coming forward and submitting something about what gives them strength. It made me smile and I hope it makes you smile too!
