I always love the russian accent for some reason. Like they sound to.. idk how to describe... like very authoritative, it can sound intimidating, but when spoken by someone that is resisting government oppression kinda like bring you hope. Like I hear a Russian accent of English and I immediately think of like revolution, like the revolution against the Tsar, or like the Alexey Navalney type of people.
When ever I hear Chinese, Korean, or Japanese accents, I think of like intellectuals, scientists. And specifically in case of Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) accents, I think of the fight for democracy in Hong Kong, the resistance against the CCP's encroching upon ROC/Taiwan, and those doctors who tried to warn people of covid, and the dissidents who fled or have been exiled.
The average American English accent sounds kinda boring, no offense. Even the British accept, which is slightly better than the American version, still sounds boring AF.
Step 1. Hack "Truth" Social
Step 2. Post: "My fellow Americans. I have signed ~~legislation~~ an executive order today that will outlaw China forever. We begin bombing in five minutes"
Step 3. ???
Step 4.
Hmm I'd have to admit I had idea what port forwarding is, but I searched it and apparantly if you don't have it, torrents are slower?
Mullvad was just for the sake of the question, I used Mullvad for a month, the IVPN, but nah, it aint for me. Those have too few servers to choose from and thus too many people are using the same servers, so Youtube ended up red flagging it, and require signing in. I use ProtonVPN now, because there are like 11000 servers (I think?) so its really easy to get a server that's not blocked by Youtube.
OMG I didn't get the joke until someone mentioned "haram" 🤣
Meshtashtic isn't really much better, in fact, its worse, the frequency is higher, therefore, it doesn't penetrate obstructions well, compared to like VHF (which can be pocket sized, like a walkie talkie), or HF (which is essentially like a console size). The only advantage is that, in some jurisdictions, it doesn't need license, and can legally re-transmit. All the legal benefits goes out the window when the country is authoritarian, so ham radio frequencies are much better for Iran.
Set "Power at ISP provider" = 0
Done
Btw is it legal to own Walkie Talkies / Ham Radios in Iran? Maybe they should be trying to get those for communications... 🤔
Fun Fact: USCIS can see even juvenile records for the past 5 years, so if you just became 18, meaning, (example) that fight at school when you were 14 where you defended yourself against the racist xenophobia bully? That's on record. For adult records, they could see every arrest even if it never resulted in a conviction, and could make decisions based on arrests alone. Or of they have "enough evidence" suggesting you are a drug user or drug dealer, they could make you "inadmissible", even if there are zero arrests nor convictions.
For adult records, they can see all sealed records, expunged records, or even pardoned offenses, and make decisions based on that, and you're expected to answer honestly, otherwise if they find out like even decades after the fact, they can just revoke any visa, green card, or even citizenship. And all that was already a thing before this traitor scum got into office.
And people are saying "immigration is too lax", I'm like: Bitch, do you know how hard is it to get in? You probably don't even qualify had you not been born here
Their (the user you replied to) sarcasm so deep they forgot the put the /s 😂
Lemmy is a leftist platform, the devs literally calls themselves "Marxist-Leninists", so everyone here is guilty by association, they don't care about tankies vs anarchist vs Social Democrat vs Neoliberal, to the far right, you're all Maoists/Stalinists, which means you're kinda fucked lol.
Maybe if you were using reddit, and didn't post anything political, you could pass as an apolitical normie.
There's tiger that want to eat you and you want to negotiate a peace treaty with the tiger. 🤣
They always had. The US border has this special exemption to the constitution that some of the normal protections don't apply.
If you are a citizen, they (legally speaking) can't deny you entry, but can jail (detain) you for 48 hours and seize all your belongings, and put your on a no-fly list if they wanted to.
If you are not a citizen, they could deny you entry on top of all that.
This was always the case in previous administrations, its just that in previous administration, they weren't this insane.
