You could get them on something like simple x chat and try to get them to understand that find my friends is useless and that they can just text you to ask where you are. If you want the most privacy and security get a pixel and install graphene os on it if you are going to make the switch.

I thought you had to give out your id for coinbase and you have to pay with your credit card so that crypto you buy is linked to and bitcoin is not private at all, everything is on the blockchain.
