Or there's the fact that union membership peaked in the 50s.

The last, uhh, 24 years keep reminding me of this line by Yeats:

"The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity."

The death toll up to this point is about 45k. Israel has not settled any land in Gaza or started expelling Palestinians into neighboring countries. There is a lot of room for it to get worse.

You know you can do more than pressure them, right? You can get involved with your state party, which in turn elects the leaders of the national party. You can vote in the primaries and kick out corporate Dems. We know this works because it's precisely how the fascists took over the Republican party.

Except the "Small government" is even bigger. The only difference is that all the money gets handed to oligarchs. The Republicans have never reduced spending while in power.

This kind of shit is why the right keeps winning. Even the people that oppose them buy into their framing and repeat their lies and propaganda.

If you don't think every major US site has been freely giving your data to the government for 20+ years, you're painfully naive. US law has never required a warrant for this type of thing due to the Third Party Doctrine.

I just want to say one last "Fuck you Kyrsten Sinema, you traitorous piece of shit."

More like Branch Davidian.

It was over 14 years, which still comes out to half a liter per day.

If he gave a shit about the country, he would have voted to convict Trump back in 2021.
