This one fuckin got me. I was like ‘yeah, I believe that unquestioningly.’

If using AI to make ‘art’ (have a machine regurgitate other people’s art, the ones available right now literally can’t exist without other people’s art that it was trained on without permission, you don’t get to just skip this part because it annoys you) makes you an artist, then so does paying someone to make art and telling them how to make it. And walking into a restaurant and ordering something also makes you a chef. Paying to have someone build your house? You better believe that makes you an architect, carpenter, plumber, and electrician.

Reacting to an illegal occupation of the state you govern is not the part where some party involved is jumping straight into civil war! If you would like to know which one is doing that, the context clues are in the first 5 words of the sentence.

Maybe you should when the National Guard is illegally occupying your state? If not now, when?

Expecting Trump to play ball and use California as anything but a whipping boy is a pipe dream.

Unless anyone recognizes the specific sounds being used it’s probably not anything that can be answered definitively without asking whoever did sound design for the episode, or maybe seeing the script.

This would likely be true even if it was a real cartoon, for the most part they draw from the sound effects library of whatever studio is working on the project.

Having that impulse to think that is good, stopping there isn’t.

Fucking LAPD buzzing them with a helicopter. If you check Flightradar you can see the (news?) helicopters also there are following local regulations to not fly below 1000 feet in urban areas. Meanwhile the LAPD is dipping down to 700 feet.

Edit: new low of 525 feet

I just logged on to post this and was pleased to see it at the top of my feed o7

It’s called plausible deniability, get on Susan’s level.

it's worse to single out 1/12th the population and say they broke the camel's back

Abso-fucking-lutely, and I don’t know if it’s just infuriating or alarming that even self proclaimed liberals and leftists are pumping their fist looking for a minority to blame the situation on.

IANAD, but according to my doctor the PT (on your own at home) is permanent. 😩 I keep thinking it’s a lie and I’ll be fine skipping it if I’m active, and then wind up on another round of prednisone so that I can actually walk.

Not to discourage you, the PT definitely gets less painful! And if they say you don’t have to keep it up then I’d listen to them. But basically don’t be me and think you can cheat on PT after finishing in person appointments, lol.
